Soup held the first ever Agency Foosball Tournament last night in Bar Kick.

Over the past few weeks, under the din of the traffic, the quiet hum of training could be heard across Soho and Shoreditch. And then, last night, the agencies arrived: Glue, Proximity, Tribal DDB, Grey, Saatchi & Saatchi, Dare, BMB, TBWA, Draft, Profero, LBi, Good Technology and Dare, AMV BBDO and Agency.com. The AAR joined the tournament, too, Juliet Blackburn was full throttle at the table but sadly, despite their best efforts, they did not triumph.

Olivier Starck and Gavin King of Ogilvy played a storming series of games and won a deserved first place as well as the much coveted trophy. Lateral came a close second and Glue won the wooden spoon. Soup was denied the winning place but, obviously, remain aloof in all things foosball.

A good time was had by all. Agency players are already in training for next year's tournament, eating simple protein diets and enjoying Vodka Espressos, the new isotonic agency sports drink, which is in balance with their body fluids.
