Chicken Out!
Posted: 16 January 2008
The Chicken Out! campaign has got the Soup office talking. A lot.
In a programme that has brought questions about food production, animal welfare and supermarket ethics to the fore, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall considered the way in which chickens are farmed intensively in order to provide cheap meat for supermarkets and their shoppers.
Nick Thompson, Managing Partner, and Steven Bennett-Day, Creative Director at Soup are both chicken rearers themselves so this was an issue particularly close to their hearts.
At Soup we believe that it's important that these issues are considered, questioned and challenged and to do this everyone needs to be informed. For this reason we've provided a link to the campaign here on our site so that you can gather a few facts and make up your own mind.
